Police Quest: Open Season
Handcuff Patch B
On a few slower computer systems, it is extremely difficult
or impossible to arrest Walker in City Hall. This patch will
give you more time to put the handcuffs on the suspect.
Copy the files from this disk into your PQ4 directory. For
example, if you installed the game into your C: drive in a
directory called C:\SIERRA\PQ4 and the files are on a disk in
your B: drive, you would type the following:
C: [ENTER]
CD \SIERRA\PQ4 [ENTER]
COPY B:*.* [ENTER]
Start the game by typing PQ4.
PLEASE NOTE: You may have to restore to a save game in a
previous scene for the patch to function correctly.

If you continue to experience any problems, or if you have any
questions concerning any of the above steps, our Technical Support
Team will be more than happy to assist you.
